Ukraine commander says French military instructors to visit Ukrainian training centres



KYIV: Ukraine‘s prime commander stated on Monday he had signed paperwork permitting French army instructors to go to Ukrainian coaching centres quickly.
“I’m happy to welcome France’s initiative to ship instructors to Ukraine to coach Ukrainian servicemen,” Oleksandr Syrskyi stated on the Telegram messaging app after talks through video hyperlink with French defence minister Sebastien Lecornu.
“I’ve already signed the paperwork that can allow the primary French instructors to go to our coaching centres shortly and familiarize themselves with their infrastructure and personnel.”
Syrskyi gave no additional particulars however stated he believed that France’s dedication would encourage different companions to hitch this “formidable mission”.
French president Emmanuel Macron has opened the door to sending troops to Ukraine and at a convention in Paris on Feb. 26 urged that one space Western troops might assist with can be to coach Ukrainians in Ukraine.
