Taiwan military detects 8 Chinese aircraft, 8 naval vessels near its territory



NEW DELHI: Taiwan‘s defence ministry on Friday reported that eight Chinese language plane and eight naval vessels had been detected close to its territory, together with three plane getting into its south-western Air Defence Identification Zone (ADIZ), prompting a response from Taiwanese armed forces.
“8 PLA plane and eight PLAN vessels working round Taiwan had been detected up till 6 a.m.(UTC+8) at this time. 3 of the plane entered our southwestern ADIZ. #ROCArmedForces have monitored the state of affairs and responded accordingly,” Taiwan’s ministry of nationwide defence (MND) posted on X.

China has been growing its use of grey zone ways since September 2020, with a better variety of army plane and naval ships working in shut proximity to Taiwan.
