Olympics 2024: Wrong national anthem played for South Sudan team

South Sudan’s males’s basketball group received the sport 90-79

The Olympic organisers in France performed the improper nationwide anthem for South Sudan forward of the nation’s opening males’s basketball sport towards Puerto Rico.

Spectators within the Pierre Mauroy stadium on Sunday booed because the Sudanese anthem was performed as a substitute of that of South Sudan.
