Fourteen individuals have been killed in a severe street accident in western Ukraine.

A senior regional official stated the fatalities resulted from a lorry driving into oncoming visitors and colliding with a minibus.

Twelve passengers, together with a six-year-old youngster, and the 2 drivers have been killed, whereas one lady survived with severe accidents, officers stated.

Legal proceedings have been opened into the incident.

It occurred close to the village of Verkhiv, in Rivne area at about 15:45 native time (12:45 GMT), the pinnacle of the regional army administration, Oleksandr Koval, stated on his Telegram channel.
