Giving away apples, Polish farmers stage more food protests



WARSAW: Polish farmers had been planning greater than 500 street blockades on Wednesday to protest in opposition to low cost meals imports from Ukraine and the European Union‘s local weather coverage.
Footage from non-public broadcaster TVN24 confirmed farmers carrying Polish flags and obstructing a street within the southern metropolis of Katowice whereas handing apples to passers-by.
