A girl who went swimming in Japan has been rescued after being swept 80km (50 miles) away from the seashore she was on along with her buddy.
The Chinese language nationwide in her 20s, who was sporting a rubber ring, spent 36 hours within the water earlier than being noticed by a cargo ship off a peninsula south of Tokyo.
A smaller vessel close by was alerted and two of its crew jumped into the ocean to rescue her, the AFP information company experiences.
Coast Guard helicopters then took the lady, who was dehydrated however aware, to hospital, in accordance with the Kyodo information company.
Police have been alerted on Monday night when the lady, who has not been named, was reported lacking after going swimming in Shizuoka Prefecture to the south-west of the capital.

The lady informed rescuers that she had been unable to return to the seashore after being swept out to sea due to the rubber ring.
